Subject: 48 RMCdo Frank Sturmey

Rec'vd: 4th Feb. 2011

Frank died on D-Day approaching Juno. I am his niece and would love to talk to somebody about 48 and especially if anybody can remember him. I visited Juno last year.

Kind regards,

Jan Savage

If you have any information/memories about Marine Sturmey, please use the contact page, and I will pass information onto Jan and her family.

We were informed by the family of Marine Thomas Gosling that his widow was unable, for the first time since his death, to organise a Poppy Wreath to be laid on his grave on Rememberance Sunday.

Thomas was killed shortly after D-Day and is laid to rest in Ranville Cemetry, we are pleased to say we managed to organise a wreath to be placed by his headstone in France on behalf of his family.
